From The Heart

Over the past number of months I have read in a number of online social media posts, I have had people tell me at their door, by email and just in general conversation, in various sentence structures but along the following expressions. 

"It's too late to save our country"

"We are at the point that this cannot be turned back."

"All politicians and leaders are the same"

"They (political leaders) are all corrupt."

I vehemently disagree with all those ideas and statements.

I firmly believe there are enough patriotic, nation loving citizens that call this great dominion of Canada home, to bring our nation back from the precipice that a decade of twisted liberal rule under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has brought us to.

President Ronald Regan once said: 

"We're blessed with the opportunity to stand for something - for liberty and freedom and fairness. And these are things worth fighting for, worth devoting our lives to."

As far as we can trace in history my ancestors came across the Atlantic Ocean from England to the "new world" in the early 1700's. They were seafarers and fishermen who worked hard and fought to survive, carving out a life in what was then a very hostile, unforgiving environment.

I will be 60 years old this coming July and have spent almost 3 decades at sea myself, I know what hard work and a fight to survive in very unfavourable conditions looks like.

We live in what I believe is the greatest country on the face of this earth and I have had the privilege to visit close to 50 of them. We as Canadians are at one of the most consequential decision points we have ever faced as a country. This is not the time to throw our hands up in the air and surrender... This is the time to fight for our country, the Canada we know, the Canada we love, the home that we have grown up in (for some the country you have moved to for a better life and future) and the kind of country we want to leave our children and grandchildren.

As Ronald Regan said, we have an opportunity to stand for something, something worth fighting for and devoting our lives to. And that something is our national home of Canada and its very future.

Apart from voting I have never been involved in politics in my life. Several years ago I gradually came to realize that we find ourselves in this current position as a nation because we have sat back, not engaged as we should in the political process and let people gain positions of power, influence and decision making that should never be there. For that, as a nation and a people we are paying the price!

I, for one, am ready to fight for the nation we love. It's not too late, all those who aspire to lead this nation are not alike and are not corrupt. Elections have consequences! Working together we can forge a new future, a future of hope, security and prosperity for Canada.

Do I have all the answers? No, and I will not make promises to you I cannot keep. This is a team effort, I want to hear from you, your ideas, your thoughts, opinions and your heart's desire for Canada and its course forward.

I know there are thousands of folks in Thunder Bay - Rainy River and millions across Canada who feel the same way and are ready to fight for Canada and take back the nation we love. This is our home, our ancestors are buried here, our children and their children will live, grow and make a life for their families here.

Canada is worth fighting for. We cannot endure another four years of the atrocious fiscal, social, military, judicial and security policies that we have endured for the past decade. We must as a nation say ENOUGH. We are done. It's time for change.

We have the opportunity to bring home common sense and place an ethical administration in Ottawa that will place CANADA FIRST not the global elites in Davos, Switzerland and every other globalist scam on planet earth. An administration that will secure Canada's sovereignty, unleash our natural resources, grow our economy, lower & axe taxes, bring our loved ones home from the scourge of addiction, reform our criminal justice system, rebuild our military, root out corruption, secure our borders and put Canada FIRST.
