Not Under Command

In the world of maritime transportation and ships there is a term used "Not Under Command" (NUC). Not under command refers to the state a vessel can possibly find itself in. By night it is signified by two all round red lights in a vertical line and by day two black sphere's in a vertical line.

Next time you walk along a dock or wharf look up at the lights in the superstructure of a ship and you will see these two all round red lights in a vertical line.

In maritime rules there are defined incidents that would render a vessel NUC. One of the classics is the loss of steering control or the loss of a rudder. A rudderless ship would be considered "Not Under Command."

I submit to you today that we have since January 6, 2025 been a rudderless nation and thus not under command. I will go further than that, Justin Trudeau's administration lost control of this nation's business long ago. A compromised, corrupt, inept administration cannot effectively govern with any sort of skill or competency and with the nation's best interests at heart. 

• Run away financial budgets.

• Out of control government hiring and spending.

• Dismal numbers on per capita GDP, job creation, business investment and more.

• Stunning rise in crime and criminals walking our streets to repeat and repeat and repeat offend.

• Shattered borders with enormous immigration numbers lacking proper vetting and oversight.

• A devastating active drug trade, including drug production coupled with international money laundering.

• A gutted military leaving our soldiers to purchase their own equipment and depend on food banks to survive, all while lacking proper equipment and what they do have being outdated and insufficient in today's world of modern warfare.

There has been an all out war on our natural resource development. Under our feet we have energy in the form of natural gas and oil along with almost every mineral, critical mineral, precious metal and gemstone you can mention. On our land, millions of hectares of forest, millions of hectares of farmland, manufacturing facilities and the largest supply of freshwater on earth. In our seas an abundance of fish and shellfish including more oil and natural gas.

We are arguably the richest nation on planet earth, Canada itself is not the problem, our incompetent leadership is! 

Back briefly to the marine world... Not under command is not a mayday situation however it can quickly lead to just that. As a nation we do not want to reach that point.

Changing captains from Trudeau to Carney will not pull us out of this NUC situation but rather the conditions will I believe deteriorate further.

We need an election and we need it NOW.

Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party of Canada has the vision, the policies and the fortitude to turn Canada around, take back control of our nation and secure our destiny of greatness.

We will cut taxes, restore sanity, fiscal competence and ethics to government.

Our nation will once again build the stuff that makes a nation strong, like infrastructure to move energy, people and goods. LNG plants, refineries, dig mines, build ships and unleash natural resources all across this great land.

Securing our borders, being tough on crime, halting the drug and money laundering trade and removing government from the parts of our everyday lives they have no business being in.

Ronald Regan once said that one of the most frightening phrases in the English language is "I'm from the government and I am here to help."

Don't get me wrong, government has its place however there is a reason it is called "public service". Our Westminster system of government was designed to serve the people. Trudeau's decade long administration has turned that around to the people serving government and God help this nation if Mark Carney ever has the opportunity to build on Trudeau's legacy and amplify it a hundred fold.

This Canadian is completely fed up with their twisted ideology. It's time for common sense once again in Ottawa. We must bring government back to the people, rebuild this country, putting Canada first. 

Let’s work together and and give Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative party of Canada with a strong group of men and women from coast to coast to coast, an overwhelming and strong mandate to govern ethically, responsibly and morally.

Canada, Thunder Bay - Rainy River... Let’s BRING IT HOME!!!
